Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: A hearing was held in the Basai court on the bail plea of Shijan Khan, accused in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case. Tunisha’s lawyer and public prosecutor have sought time, due to which the hearing of the case was postponed till January 11. What happened in the court is understood in a sequential manner. Sheezan Khan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra’s argument Shailendra Mishra read out the statement given by Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma and the copy of the FIR in front of the court today.
Shailendra Mishra, while reading the FIR copy and the statements of the witnesses in the court, mentioned that according to the police, Sheezan had slapped Tunisha and deleted the WhatsApp chats. Apart from this, Tunisha used to have anxiety attacks. Shailendra Mishra raised the issue of Section 306 of IPC and said that Section 306 of IPC cannot be invoked in this case, because the accused in no way instigated the deceased nor put him in such a situation that he would commit suicide.
According to Sheezan’s lawyer, the breakup of Sheezan and Tunisha took place on 15 December 2022. After this breakup, both were living their lives in a normal way. From December 15 to December 24, both of them continued their shooting as usual, during this shooting no one found anything unusual in their behavior on the set.
Sheezan’s lawyer presented the argument in the court
Co-stars Parth Zutsi, Aayush and Sheezan of the TV serial Ali Baba Dastaan-e-Kabul were sitting on the set on the evening of 23 December when Tunisha showed a picture of a gallows in her mobile phone to her co-star Parth, who Parth got angry seeing this. Parth had given this information to Sheezan. Sheezan called Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma to warn her and asked her to take care of Tunisha and spend time with her.
Tunisha installed dating app after breakup with Sheejan?
Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra revealed in the court that Tunisha Sharma was leading a normal life after the breakup and had moved on from her relationship with Sheezan. She had even created an account on the dating app Tinder and was in contact with a man named Ali. Not only was she in contact with a person named Ali, but she was also spending time with Ali in the late evening of 21 December, 22 December and 23 December. Both Ali and Tunisha had also visited a cake shop and had also spent 3 hours in a hookah parlour, Tunisha herself told these things to Sheezan before her death.
The lawyer said that Tunisha had also called her mother Vanita Sharma using Ali’s phone. The kind of claim being made that the person who had the last conversation with Tunisha is Sheezan, it is wrong. After Sheezan had gone to shoot on the set, Tunisha made a video call to Ali and both of them talked on video call for 15 minutes.
Sheezan’s lawyer claims that 15 minutes before Tunisha’s suicide, she was talking to Ali on a video call, although the police did not take this seriously in their investigation and the misuse of arrest is clearly visible here.
The lawyer told that the hijab which is being talked about in the police investigation and a picture is being cited is a set picture wearing hijab and both actor and actress are performing Ganpati Puja. Apart from this, Sheezan Khan himself never visited any dargah. The phone records of both, the CDR is available with the police, but it can be ascertained from the call location whether the two ever went to any dargah together or not.
Vanita Sharma sent a WhatsApp message to Sheezan Khan’s mother in which 3 medicines were mentioned. These medicines are antipsychotic medicines which cannot be given without doctor’s advice. Giving more information about these medicines, Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra said that these medicines also have bad effects and if it is not taken under the right guidelines, then the patient also takes steps like suicide.
Tunisha’s relationship with mother was not good: Sheejan’s lawyer
Advocate Shailendra Mishra told the court that in an interview given to a newspaper, Tunisha has mentioned how she has been a victim of depression. This article was published in the year 2021, when Sheejan and Tunisha had never even come in contact. On Tunisha’s social media account, she had not posted a single post with her mother since July 12, 2021. Their relationship was not good.
Sheejan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra mentioned these things in the court that Tunisha always said good things for Sheejan, from normal conversations to writing good things for Sheejan on social media accounts on every occasion.
At the same time, the police had made the basis of 10 issues to reject Shijan Khan’s bail. These 10 issues were also mentioned by Shailendra Mishra during his cross-examination.
Shailendra Mishra said-
- The accused Sheezan Khan Mohammad was arrested and sent behind bars just because of his religion and being a Muslim.
- According to the police, there is public anger over this case, but what is the relation of public anger with the investigation?
- Both of them had a breakup, but no one can force someone to love and marry forcibly. There were two boyfriends in Tunisha’s life before Sheejan, despite the breakup of these two relationships, she did not take a big step like suicide.
- The statements of the witnesses in this case are to be recorded under section 164 of the CrPC, although the police say that their statements may change in the future, but on this, Shijan’s lawyer said that all these statements are to be made before the judge, in such a case, his client’s There is no relation.
- Tunisha Sharma had spent time with Ali on the night of 23 December… Police say that the forensic report is yet to come. Because the mobile phone of the accused is with the police, it is not possible to tamper with it in any way.
- Apart from this, it is clearly mentioned in the post mortem report of Tunisha that she died due to hanging and there are no external injury marks on the body.
The police is arguing that the accused can influence the witnesses by threatening, although Shizan Khan Mohammad has no previous criminal case and is neither a terrorist nor a history sitter. - According to the police, the person who talked to Tunisha in the make-up room for the last 15 minutes was the same person, while sitting with Tunisha listening to music for an hour. And after Shijan had gone to suit, Tunisha had a video call conversation with a person named Ali for 15 minutes.

In which actress Jiah Khan suicide case Suraj Pancholi case was also mentioned and TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case and Rahul Raj Singh case Kabhi Judgment were mentioned during cross-examination.
Tunisha’s lawyer presented his side
Tunisha’s lawyer Tarun Sharma wanted to present his side in the court and said that Sheezan’s lawyer has cited 20 judgments, he needs time to read and understand these 20 huge judgements. At the same time, he needed time to study the arguments presented by Seezan’s lawyer in the court and prepare an answer related to it and requested the court to give the matter the next date. On which the Vasai court has postponed the next hearing of the case for January 11.
